St Pierre et Miquelon FrancoForum
Situated on the French island of Saint-Pierre, the Francoforum is a language institute which has specialized in French as a second language teaching since 1992. The Francoforum offers school groups, students, teachers and individuals various immersion courses throughout the year. The islands become a classroom as the participants explore the culture through language practice, tours, meetings with the locals, and a complete immersion in Saint-Pierre’s way of life. UPEI Learn and Play en français
Learn and Play “en français” summer camp will be offered at UPEI from Monday to Friday (July 3 to August 25) for students in Kindergarten (finished) to Grade 6 French Immersion and French Language programs who want to enjoy the summer having fun and learning in a completely French environment. UPEI has carefully selected their team of language teachers for these camps. They are all bilingual and qualified to teach French, graduates of the Bed French Immersion Baccalaureate Program at UPEI. This summer the Centre Goéland will be hosting French camps for students finishing Kindergarten to Grade 6. Day and overnight camps are offered. Day and overnight camps are hosted on the same dates. As a result, students can attend activities for one day OR two days (with an overnight). Activities include beach and nature walks, sports activities, painting activities, and games for fun. The information on both types of camps is found below.
CAMP DATES: 2018 JULY 4-5, JULY 24-25, AUGUST 7-8, AUGUST 20-21
Day camp Hours: 7:30am – 5:30pm Cost: 25$ per student
Lunch and snacks will be provided throughout
Overnight camp Hours: 7:30 am the first day until 5:30 pm the following day
Cost: 80$ per student
