French for Life French for Life was created in response to the federal government’s Action Plan for Official Languages. One of the goals of the plan is to consolidate and improve the quality of existing second language instruction programs, and increase the proportion of graduates at the secondary level with a working knowledge of their second language.

CPF PEI’s École ambassadrice du français program acknowledges schools who make an effort to support learning French in their schools. We are pleased to have partners including the Embassy of France and the Core French Teachers association. There is an opportunity for those schools not already honored with this award to apply each year.

Each year CPF PEI provides a variety of opportunities for students, schools and teachers to celebrate this event. NOTE: events will be posted annually in early February.
French Drama Festival
Developed by the Department of Education and early Childhood development and partners, the French Drama Festival is held each Spring for Island students in French programs.
Canadian Parents for French – PEI supports the Provincial French Drama Festival through a donation that provides drama animators or coaches.

The Anglais-French Show
