Charities in Canada have a long history of getting involved in the public policy process on a number of key societal issues. In light of recent media attention and discussions about the proposed Gateway Pipeline, specifically concerning environmental charities, we want to take this opportunity to remind you of the importance of the sector’s voice and to highlight the fact that political activity is a recognized activity by the Canada Revenue Agency.
