Charlottetown,PEI- September 12, 2014) The Fédération culturelle de l’Île-du-Prince-Édouard is looking for young francophones and francophiles interested in participating in the ManiFest Jeunesse 2014, a stage production and visual art exhibition by the young artists of Prince Edward Island. All interested artists between the ages of 12 to 25 are invited to submit an application and experience the opportunity of a lifetime!

The ManiFest Jeunesse is a performing arts production and visual arts exhibition that celebrates the cultural diversity of the Acadian and francophone communities in Prince Edward Island in honor of the PEI 2014 celebrations. This production demonstrates the talents and cultural expression of the Acadian and francophone youth and is inspired by the PEI 2014 celebrations’ “Honor the past, celebrate the present and plan a bold tomorrow.”

The Fédération culturelle de l’Île-Prince-Édouard invites all young artists between the ages of 12 and 25 with a talent for music, song, dance, comedy , theater, storytelling, slam and all other forms of artistic expressions to submit their applications to the Fédération culturelle de l’Ìle-du-Prince-Édouard before the deadline: September 22nd 2014. Meetings between the production team and the candidates will take place afterwards in order to determine the right components of the performing arts production and visual arts exhibition. The selected artists will have the opportunity to work with professional artists and learn new techniques related to their artistic discipline. The final production will be presented twice at the Mack in Charlottetown on November 22nd and 23rd 2014.
